My (not so) Favourite Street Style from NY Fashion Week

February, it’s Fashion Week time again!
As last year New York hasn’t been blessed by the weather, with lots of snow and polar temperatures.
Which means some fashion streetstyle fun for me as last year.
I do love street style – you know I really do – but sometimes fashion week looks are just so… so… okay you might decide on your own :)
Mie care Amiche Fashioniste siamo a febbraio, è di nuovo tempo di Fashion Weeks.
Anche quest’anno New York è stata piuttosto sfortunata con il meteo che ha previsto strade innevate e temperature sotto lo zero.
E come l’anno scorso questo ha prodotto un po’ di sana (non per loro) fashion-ilarità per me.
Sapete quanto io apprezzi lo street style – e qui non sono ironica, intendo davvero! – ma a volte quello delle settimane della moda regala delle vere perle di genialità.
Ecco alcuni look che vi saranno di sicura ispirazione per i vostri i look quotidiani.
O forse no? :)
 Look 1: The Winter Belly
As much as I love Leigh Lezark but…
what’s really comfortable to wear when there’s snow outside?
A cropped top to show off your belly! For sure.
1. Look 1: L’ombelico d’Inverno
Quando le strade sono innevate cosa c’è di più piacevole che indossare un top corto che lascia la pancia scoperta?
(Così a naso direi pure peggio della sabbia nel costume d’estate…)
Look 2: The New Ski Suit
If snow is on the streets then put on your favourite lightest floral summer dress and you’re ready to go!
To be ready for skiing just add your ski boots.
Look 2: La nuova tuta da sci
In caso di neve indossate il vostro abitivo estivo fiorato più leggero e arioso e siete pronte per uscire!
Consigliato anche sulle piste da sci, in quel caso basta aggiungere gli scarponi.
 Look 3: The ?%#$£? Look
As much as I love Taylor Tomasi but…
this is definitely too avant-garde for me.
Look 3: Il look ?%#$£?
Per quanto io ami Taylor Tomasi…
in questo caso è davvero troppo avanti per me.
 Look 4: The Dark Lady Look (+ Bunny)
Yes! Perfect black & leather look!
Maybe until you look at her shoes.
Look 4: La Dark Lady (Coniglietta)
Sì! Un look total black perfetto!
Forse prima di vedere le scarpe.
 Look 5: Mixing Prints
Mixing prints is cool, yeah. Mixing Prints is so fashion week, yeah.
But maybe the 2 prints should be actually match-able.
Look 5: il mix di stampe
“Mixing prints” fa tanto fashion week. Il mix di stampe è tanto di moda.
Però le due stampe in questione dovrebbero potersi amalgamare un po’ più di acqua e olio.
Look 6: The Cleaning Floor Look
As much as I love Natalie Joos but…
those little poor (Missoni?) trousers used as a rag…
Look 6: Il Mocio-look
Per quanto io ami Natalie Joos…
ma quei poveri pantaloni (Missoni?) ridotti uno straccio?
Look 7: The Perfect Office Look
That’s how you can dress for work tomorrow morning.
’cause street style means good everday inspo (?)
And could we please stop it now with those Mickey Mouse ears at each-and-every fashion week?
Look 7: Il perfetto look da ufficio
Ispirazione per voi da indossare domani mattina in ufficio.
Perché quelli della fashion week sono tutti uno di noi.
E per favore possiamo smetterla ora con queste orecchie da Topolino a ogni-santa-fashion-week da tre anni a questa parte?

  12. I think half of these street style looks (not just on these photos, but in general) are just ridiculous… people seem to throw on anything just to be different, but there is a very very thing line between being fashion forward and being just ridiculous.

    • true. although I think they do not put "anything on to be different" but they just put on "anything designer" which doesn't make them look different but more looking as a lookbook/campaign.

    Non capirò mai chi crede di essere alla moda perché è "mezzo nudo" d'inverno.

    • il problema non è che "credono di essere alla moda" è che sono obbligati a indossare i capi delle nuove attuali collezioni per promuoverle attraverso lo street style.
      perché il marketing evidentemente viene prima della salute e della sanità mentale della gente.

  15. commento raramento i post ora che guardo i blog sul cellulare, ma questo proprio non potevo farne a meno! Mi ricordo quello dell'anno scorso, ma quest'anno ti sei sorpassata gioia! molto spiritoso! Forse quella del look #2 viene dalla Siberia, e essendo abituata ai -50° in inverno, i -15° di NY gli sembrano primavera.. :-)
