On Friday I’ve been to Esxence, The Scent of Excellence, an art perfumery event and fair in Milan. It was its 8th edition and I wondered why I had not been there before. It’s a great event and way to discover over 200(!) niche perfume brands and artisans form all over the world. There are well known names and new emergent projects that started this year. I’ve learned lots of things there, like that niche perfumes are always unisex, and listened to some great stories, since perfumes always have a concept and story behind them. There are also a few, very interesting make up and skincare brands there. If you are in Milan this weekend I recommend you to visit Esxence. It’s free and open until Sunday 3rd April.
