The most stylish shop assistants (are French)

apc_istacollage

As I am always looking for new stylish inspiration (usable on my everyday life) I remembered one of the most inspiring Instagram habits: A.P.C. Paris posting photos of their shop assistants. They usually stand in front or inside the store where they work at, in different cities of the world. Their looks (if you like the minimal APC looks) are very inspiring and I’m showing you some of the photos today.

I think this habit of “living lookbooks” and shop assistant style is a good idea. We should see more of this.

More and more stylish shop assistants were raising. An exponential growth of them. Photos of their looks were posted on the web and some of them, shop girls with the most cute faces and bodies that suited society’s dictate the best, began to be known by people and became famous. People bought a lot more if shop assistants wore the clothes. They started to open their own profiles on a new app called “ShopAssistantagram”. They asked brands to increase their discount for buying the clothes and got them gifted to create even more looks. “Our followers want more looks, 365 for year are not enough!,” they said. Shop assistants would now change look several times a day. A special break called the”changing look break” was created during their working time. Even clothing to wear were not enough any more. Special “Shop Assistants Capsule Collections” were created. Assistants started to ask for salary increases, percentage on sales, stock options. Now some of them worked in stores only to be admired and to take selfies with customers. Within a few years shop assistants sat front row at fashion shows. The best known shop girl in the country, known as “The Brunette Banana”, created her Personal Store Capsule Collection. The fashion establishment started to feel upset. They criticized shop assistants for being out of place until the well-known magazine “Fashion Rouge” wrote: “They already had a job, they should stick to it, fold clothes and tidy up dressing rooms again. And stop bothering us!”. But they did not.

Beside from me creating a parallel dystopian society here are the photos from A.P.C.‘s (real) Instagram:
