Milan Design Week: Swarovski Crystal Palace 2010

Six different rooms, five international outstanding designers – Yves Béhar, Vincent van Duysen, Rogier van der Heide, Gwenael Nicolas and Tokujin Yoshioka, one word to describe it: breathtaking. The Swarovski Crystal Palace is probably the exhibition I liked best this year. It really makes you feel emotions and transports you into a magical world. Talking about it with my friend that visited the installations with me she said that Swarovski did a really good thing with the exhibition: it is not focused on a product but presents you a… crystal dream. And that’s the best way for me to positively remember a brand’s name. If I had the opportunity, I would visit the Swarovski Crystal Palace another time right now.

  5. Great you publish this, it is a wonderful overview for those who could not go to Milan. What stands out the most is that all of this is done with LED lighting, which is not the future anymore but the today. Crystal Palace shows that with LED designers can do the things they could never do before. A compliment for Swarovski to have the courage to make this the most experimental Crystal Palace we've seen so far. And it was fantastic to take part, thank you!
