Luisa Via Roma / Firenze 4 Ever: My Report

Un evento non-stop di due giorni per festeggiare il decimo anniversario di un fashion luxury store. Ospiti d’onore? Decine di fashion bloggers provenienti da tutto il mondo. Se qualcuno me l’avesse suggerito quattro giorni fa l’avrei liquidato con: improbabile. E se avesse aggiunto che il fashion store in questione fosse italiano avrei detto: impossibile. In Italia i bloggers sono spesso ancora considerati, e non di rado dalle aziende, come delle entità inclassificabili, semi sconosciute e potenzialmente pericolose. Per questo l’evento Firenze 4 Ever organizzato da Luisa Via Roma con la lungimiranza del suo patron Andrea Panconesi è stato per me una rivelazione. Qualcuno allora crede in noi? Chiaramente non posso negare che essere tra i bloggers invitati è stato lusinghiero. Qualcuno allora crede anche… in me?
A Firenze lo store Luisa via Roma tra il 10 e il 12 giugno è stato un continuo e scoppiettante viavai di bloggers, dai più noti come Brian Boy, Sea Of Shoes, Nitrolicious, StyleScrapbook e Style by Kling (la lista completa sarebbe troppo lunga!). Ma anche di tantissime “nuove promesse”, bloggers forse meno noti ma di certo talentuosi e pieni di entusiasmo. Altri ancora ne sono arrivati in occasione dell’esclusivo party organizzato a conlcusione dell’evento sabato sera.
Ma come raccontarvi questi due giorni? Provate a immaginare il fashion-paradiso dei bloggers. Ecco, si era temporaneamente trasferito da Luisa Via Roma. Abiti, scarpe e accessori tra i più cool della prossima stagione per creare outfit lussosissimi? C’erano, ovviamente. Tanti. Troppi. Originali, preziosi, eccentrici. Di alcuni dei miei designers preferiti. Avrei voluto provarli tutti. Ma no, perché la vecchia Blue non è un’outfit blogger. E dunque? Dunque avevo una modella, un fotografo e un’assistente personale a mia disposizione. Per creare miei look per uno shooting di moda professionale. Se non è fantastico questo… Poi parrucchieri e make-up artists disponibili non-stop (e quest’occasione persino la vecchia Blue non se l’è lasciata scappare). E la luminosa terrazza dello store ospitava tavolini in continua trasformazione: da blogger-scrivanie con wi-fi, a salette per interviste, a zona relax, oppure, apparecchiati, per un confortevole punto di ristoro.
Ma tra un fashion shooting e l’altro c’è stato anche il tempo di incontrare il sindaco di Firenze Matteo Renzi – che ha sottolineato come la città, grazie anche a un evento come questo, si proietti nel futuro e non rimanga adagiata soltanto sulle sue ricchezze del passato – e di visitare Palazzo Vecchio (con un caldo asfissiante ma questo è stato il fedele accompagnatore di tutti i giorni). E poi non sono mancati i bisbocciamenti. Dall’aperitivo rosé a Colle Bereto, alla cena a lume di candela al ristorante IX Nove (vi prego procuratemi un’altra di quelle deliziose crostatine con le fragole!) e l’affollatissima festa di chiusura sulla terrazza. Ovviamente ho fatto anche qualche nuova conoscenza. Per le piacevoli blogger-chiacchiere ringrazio in particolare i ragazzi di Nob, i danesi di LeHype e AfterDRK, la dolce fanciulla dagli occhi verdissimi.
Ma in questo fashion paradiso c’è stato spazio anche per una porzioncina di inferno squisitamente femminile. Quello dove vanno i piedi delle bloggers dopo due giorni sui tacchi!

A two days event to celebrate the 10th birthday of a luxury fashion store. Guests of honor? Dozens of fashion bloggers from all around the world. If someone had suggested me something like this five days ago I would have said: not probable. And if they added that the store in question was Italian I would have added: impossible. In Italy bloggers are often still considered as strange and unclassifiable entitities which are potentially dangerous. So Firenze 4 Ever at Luisa Via Roma and the innovative vision of its owner Andrea Panconesi was a pleasant revelation for me. Then somone believes in bloggers? And I can’t deny that being among the invited bloggers was flattering. Then someone also believes …in me?
From 10th to 12th June Luisa Via Roma store has been a continuous bustle of bloggers. Some of the most famous ones like BrianBoy, Sea Of Shoes, Nitrolicious, StylesScrapbook and Style by Kling (the whole list would be too long!). But also many “new talents”, maybe less known but full of enthusiasm. Others arrived for the exclusive closing party Saturday night.
But how to describe you these days? Imagine a fashion-paradise for bloggers. It was temporarily at Luisa via Roma! Next season’s coolest clothes, shoes and bags to style luxury outfits? They were there, of course. Many. So many. Original, precious and eccentric items. Some of them were of my favorite designers. I wanted to try them all on. But your oldie Blue is not an outfit blogger. So what? I had my own model, my own photographer and my personal assistant to create my looks for a professional shooting. If that’s not great… Hair and make-up artists were available for all of us non-stop (and even your oldie Blue could not miss this occasion!) And the terrace of the store hosted tables which were transforming continously: from bloggers-desks with wi-fi, to interview points, to relaxing areas and confortable restaurant tables.
But we had also time to visit Palazzo Vecchio and meet there the mayor of Florence Matteo Renzi who said that thanks to events like this one the city prepares for future instead of just being satisfied with the beauty and richness of its past.
But of course there was also time to party. With an happy hour at Colle Bereto and a dinner by candle light at restaurat IX Nine (please give me another of those little delicious strawberry cakes!) and of course the crowded closing party on the terrace. I also met some new bloggers, for the pleasant blogger-talk I would thank especially Italian guys of Nob, Danish ones of LeHype and AfterDRK the sweet green-eyed girl.
But in fashion blogger’s paradise there was also a little place for hell. A female hell. The one where all the bloggers feet go after two days wearing high heels!
Thank you Luisa Via Roma! See you next year? Well, I’m definitely available… 😀
