Heavy Machine Shoes

What’s the first thing that comes into your mind by looking at these strange and futuristic shoes? I’m sure it’s not “comfortable”. But that’s exactly what they are. How to indulge in high fashion footwear without sacrificing comfort in the process? That’s the question Michelle Wu and Yoyo Pan co-founders and Creative Directors of Heavy Machine want to answer with their shoes collection. Inspired by the strenght of industrial machines which boast bold, strong lines, each of their shoe becomes an important individual statement. Form + Function + Comfort + Sexy, Edgy Footwear = that’s Heavy Machine, a label established in Taiwan in 2009 (Michelle studied fashion in New York City and also in Italy, in Florence at Polimoda).
And Heavy Machine offers you a special 15% discount code for their online shop by using the code “BLUE” at the choeck out. It will be working for 15 days, from today until November 4th.

Qual è la prima cosa che vi viene in mente guardando queste (strane) scarpe? Sono sicura che non avete pensato a “comode e confortevoli”. Invece l’obiettivo di Michelle Wu e Yoyo Pan, le fondatrici e designers di Heavy Machine, è proprio questo: creare scarpe con i tacchi alti, ispirate al design industriale e un po’ futuristiche, ma che siano soprattutto comode. Michelle e Yoyo, che sono di Taiwan (Michelle ha studiato a New York e anche da Polimoda a Firenze) e hanno fondato il marchio nel 2009, assicurano che con le loro scarpe potete tranquillamente correre.   3. Anche a me non piacciono per niente, sono troppo "strane", però forse le uniche che forse proverei a mettere sono quelle con gli inserti in suede blu, giusto per vedere come ci si cammina!!!

  12. In fatto di scarpe ho gusti un po' troppo "banali" forse, ma queste saranno anche comode ma proprio non riesco a farmele piacere :)
