5 Places to Discover in London

FIVE_WITH-Rosella-Degori-London

I had the pleasure to meet Rosella Degori in Milan in my first year of blogging. Meanwhile she moved to London and we recently met again and shared an interesting day full of photos, a visit to the Modern Gallery Museum in Milan and a lovely lunch. Rosella Degori is an outstanding photographer and I suggest you follow her Instagram @roselladegori. With 2 honourable mentions on Instagram and 100K followers (for once totally deserved!) you will discover unexpected places and sights of London and other cities. And today she reveals her favorite places in London.

1 | Holland Park:

The prettiest side of London, with its pastel houses and vintage cars perfectly parked in front of them. Take a stroll here and you’ll feel like stepping into a dreamy film scenery.

2 | The Orange Pekoe:

Tucked away in South London’s quaint neighbourhood of Barnes, this teeny-tiny tea room is the perfect place to sip an excellent cup of tea, like proper Brits do.

3 | Hill Garden and Pergola, Hampstead:

My secret garden when I want to chill out and escape the hustle and bustle of London. No tourists around, just you, a few locals and the silent beauty of plants and flowers.

4 | Dulwich Picture Gallery:

This is a very small and little known gallery in South London, showcasing some of the world’s finest artists. I recently popped in for Norwegian artist Nikolai Astrup’s exhibition, but they also have a well curated selection of Italian paintings.

5 | Story Coffee:

Probably London’s best coffee – they make cappuccino like nobody else does – very cosy atmosphere, extremely friendly and nice staff, excellent food (worth testing their brunch menu). Couldn’t ask for more!

BONUS | Richmond Park:

Forget Hyde Park, Richmond is the real deal (largest park in London). Head over at dawn just before the sun rises, take a pair of Hunter boots with you (can be very muddy, sometimes) and get ready to meet a herd of deer running freely throughout the park.
