Alpinestars 50th Anniversary Party

1963 – 2013
Ieri Alpinestars ha festeggiato il 50esimo anniversario dalla nascita del suo primo stivale da motocross (per la cronaca era marroncino e sembrava un po’ uno stivale da montagna). Oggi Alpinestars è un brand italiano – ma decisamente internazionale – che produce abbigliamento tecnico e sportivo per moto e auto da corsa. 
Ma ha anche collezioni ben più femminili da indossare nella vita di tutti i giorni – e senza dover andare per forza in moto a fare la spesa – con i marchi ASbyDF e Astars Women.
Ieri ho imparato che:
– le tute da motociclista hanno le “ginocchia piegate” anche quando sono appese dritte.
– il mio stivale da motocross preferito era del 1986, quello rosa.
– il campione del mondo di motociclismo Jorge Lorenzo (presente ieri al party) è più alla mano di quasiasi starlette (blogger?) del fashion world e ti chiede scusa lui nel caso tu lo urtassi mentre ti sporgi un po’ troppo cercando di agguantare un piattino dal buffet. True story.

Yesterday Alpinestars celebrated its 50th anniversary party.
From their first Italian motocross boot to today’s tech clothing for international car and motocycle racing.
But they do also have some more feminine and everyday women collections with ASbyDF and Astars Women. 
Things I learned yesterday:
– motorcycle suits have curved legs even when they hang up
– my favourite motocross boots are from 1986, they are pink.
– motorcycle world champion Jorge Lorenzo (who was at the party as well) is more down to earth than every fashion crowd (blogger?) and he says sorry himself in case you bump into him trying to reach the food on the buffet. True story.
Hello Jorge, I didn’t take a photo of you, since we are already friends, aren’t we?
