Photography | I Scream Factory at Habitat

New exhibition runs from 20-30 August at Platform Gallery, Habitat King’s Road, London.

Ice cream, the melting queen of delicacies, has proven to be the perfect
metaphor for life itself as it is fragile, temporal yet
pleasurable…in other words, one luscious femme fatale! In August, the
art collective I Scream Factory, will transform Habitat’s Platform
gallery in London into an ice cream world.

The
exhibition plays with the desire to put the focus back on the present
moment, to take a unique and refreshing perspective on peoples lives and
dreams. The artist’s different interpretations vary from candy-coloured
dreams to dark visions with tense undertones. Photographs,
installations and fine art work by the collective inspired by ice cream,
provide context and hope to spark critical discussions about this
important topic.
