The scent of cotton

Cotton. The purity of cotton. If you could more 100% cotton clothes the world would be a better place. A fresher world for sure. Some time ago I wrote of how careful I read the composition of textiles and the launch of the new Crinoline body fragrance reminded me of that post.

Because how does polyester smell? It has no smell. Or probably that of sweat. While what is the smell of cotton? There are plenty. In the Cotton Care line each fragrance is inspired by a different kind of cotton. And the newcomer is Crinoline, the raw cotton that was used to stiffen clothing in the past. Which makes me think of Jane Austen, of Little Women, petticoats, lace and crinolines of the 19th century. Although this body fragrance has nothing to do with old times. It’s fresh, pure, modern and clean. Just as cotton can be.
