Restaurant Tip: Fukurou, my favourite Japanese in Milan

After two trips in two years, lots of food photos on Instagram, and a kitchen full of of Japanese ingredients, it’s should be clear that I’m addicted to Japan and to their delicious food. That is now part of my weekly menu at home as Italian pasta. I even bought a Japanese rice cooker, that is somethging that changes your life completely, at least on the cooking side.

And even when we go eating out it often ends with “let’s go to the Japanese!” So this is one of my favourite Japanese restaurants addresses in Milan, in case you are in Italy and tired of eating, pizza, pasta risotto (what do you say, is it possible?). Fukurou is a small restaurant offering traditional food, sushi, ramen, tempura and a lot of fish dishes. You always find a Japanese crowd there and some of the staff still can’t speak a fluent Italian. For lunch you can chose menu sets to combine different dishes like gyoza and onighiri balls with your main dish. Everything is delicious here and it is nicely presented, as it always happens with Japnese cuisine. You won’t be disapponted.
