blueWEEKLY #3

blueWEEKLY-3

Inspiration, interesting projects and ideas I found on the web this week.

1 | La Corde: a fun idea (not very practical yet) to wear books as a bag through a metallic plug string. Their images are great though!

2 | Letterheady: is a blog which pays “online homage to offline correspondence.” It doesn’t care about the contents of the letter, just its design. The kind of images I love to browse through. Lovely!

3 | Ladybird Books for Grown Up: A series of adult tongue-in-cheek Ladybird books with a lovely retro and fun vibe.  The titles include The Shed, The Wife, The Husband, The Hangover, Mindfulness, Dating and The Hipster.

4 | Plants on Pink: Lotte van Baalen runs an Instagram with a compilation of photos from all around the web with plants on a pink wall.  It has already inspired a fashion editorial.

5 | White T-shirt Reviews: we are always in search of the perfect white basic Tee. Style and Wellbeing reviewed five.

BONUS | Tehran Street Style Book: Hoda Katebi (هدی کاتبی) is a Muslim-Iranian writer, photographer and activist based in Chicago. And she writes a very interesting blog. Now she released her first book on street style book. “Tehran Streetstyle is the first-ever in-print collection of modern fashion photography from the streets of Tehran, Iran.  Actively challenging mainstream Western notions of Iran and fashion as well as domestic government clothing regulations, this book provides a visual introduction to the Iranian underground fashion industry and the young people who are making up the rules as they go.”
